Revelation Unveiled

Saints of God Awake! There is much amiss …

Doesn’t THAT Seem STRANGE To You?

If you would like to listen to this rather than read click on the YouTube link below.

We continually hear, we don’t have enough light to understand this or that.  This one thinks a particular thing set forth in Scripture may be this, and this other certain one thinks it may be that.  But, all in all, except for those who are looking for natural phenomena to usher in this “seven” years, or whatever, of natural calamities wherein God really lets the lost of this world have it, we can’t seem to agree on much of anything.  Does that not seem strange to you?

Do you not wonder why the Lord would tell us about all the horrendous things that those who are the lost are going to suffer, if indeed the Book of Revelation is describing such events?  When we read those things, with the understanding that the Lord is going to commit what seems to be these extreme acts of violence on the lost, does it cause us to want to run out and warn them of their impending doom, or do we say, “Thank God, that’s not for us.”  Does this picture not seem strange to you?

The whole scenario, as it has been laid out by those who have gone before us, who evidently were much closer to God and much wiser than we, appears to me to be somewhat askew.  I understand in the Old Testament that the Lord God, being a Righteous God, had no choice other than to exact justice on those who sinned; but are we not now under grace, whereby mercy can issue forth from the throne?  Does the supposed “seven year tribulation” picture, which has been painted by those leaders of the Church who seem to be somewhat, not seem strange to you?

It even appears that it is impossible for us to agree as to what the color “white” symbolizes in Scripture, although in every place we see it it stands for righteousness, holiness, goodness, purity, etc.  We can see, “And I saw a great WHITE throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them” (Revelation 20:11).  Yet we still cannot determine what the color WHITE, in Scripture, stands for.  Does that not seem strange to you?

The subject of the rapture is discussed in such manner as pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, and it is bandied about whether there is to be one rapture or two.  But, if we look, we can all see that this event, which has been labeled the rapture, takes place “at the LAST trump” (1Corinthians 15:52).  But, we find ourselves unable to point to the scripture or scriptures which brings into focus this last trump.  Does that not seem strange to you?

We wonder about Babylon the Great, a one man antichrist, the false prophet, the image of the beast, falling stars, a star whose name is wormwood, etc. etc.  The answers never seem to be concrete and, in the end, we go away knowing no more than when we came.  Does this not seem strange to you?

Furthermore, Babylon the Great is discussed as if it is some world power, though the Lord points out to us that whomever she is she has become the habitation of devils, the hold for EVERY foul spirit, and a cage for EVERY mean and hateful bird (Revelation 18:2).  The question then becomes why would we consider her to be some worldly secular power? when we all do know that Satan is, “the god of this world, this age” (2Corinthians 4:4a).  And, that being the case, we know that all things outside of “the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13a) “lies in wickedness” (1John 5:19b).  If Babylon is a worldly governmental kingdom of some sort we would already understand it to the be the habitation of devils and would need no additional warning from the Lord.  Does not our deliberations on who or what this WOMAN may or may not be seem strange to you?

We hear it discussed about the “Mark of the Beast” and how it may be some sort of microchip, identification implant, tattoo, cashless society, etc. etc.  And that if I take that mark, whatever it is, I will lose my salvation.  That being said then, the reverse side is that if I DON’T take the mark, will I then have EARNED my way into heaven?  Doesn’t that seem strange to you?

Why in the world would we waste our time on things which we so evidently have no real possibility of answering?  It’s as though a veil has been pulled over our eyes, it’s round and round we go, confusion and misunderstanding seem to be on every corner.  Sounds almost like “Babylon (confusion) the Great” to me.  Does not ALL these many things, for which we evidently have no real answers, seem strange to you?

But, “thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place” (2Corinthians 2:14).  Saints of God the answers to all these questions and more are right here on this blog Revelationunveiled: for, THE TIME IS AT HAND, THE DARKNESS IS PAST, AND THE LIGHT HAS COME!

Wherefore, “Come out of her (Babylon the Great) my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).

THIS IS THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, PREPARE YOU THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT HIS PATHS.  Amen.
